how to convert a rar file to play on ps2

Hello list,
I am new to this burning and converting files.
I downloaded a rar file and I have dowloaded and bought 5 burning and two converting programs and I cannot do anything with this file. I am trying to convert a rar file to play on a ps2 for my son can someone help me PLEASE!

You were aiming to do the wrong thing...

You actually need to extract the .rar archive as it contains the file you need to burn to a disc.

You can use a program called Winrar, which is what created the archive, or you can use 7 zip, which can extract it as well.

7zip is free, where as Winrar you need to pay for.

As hitman47 said, decompress your .RAR files with 7 zip.
Then convert extracted video to PS2 acceptable format with a video converter.

hi, I have same problem with you before, then I extract the file and use Nidesoft video converter to convert it, done.

One day I downloaded from network a good song.And after some days I saw that it was corrupted.But I fortunately found on my PC-rarfix download and software solved my problems in a minutes for free.Moreover application helped my good friend too.
