How to burn DVD movie

I got a DVDscr movie and I would like to burn it to dvd. What software I need and how to do it? Thanks.

well it depends on wut type of file it is. it can b handled a number of wayz wut type of file is it?

Hi, if your trying to convert (encode) an avi or Mpeg file to DVD (.VO then the best tool ive found is winAVI, its great, it will convert AVI to DVD in less than an hour (Depending on your machine) its extreamly simply to use, but you will then need NERO to actualy burn it to DVD. Im new to all this encoding stuff, but like i said winAVI is soo simple to use and the speed is amazing, also you could try TMGenc or i sometimes use DVDsanta, all these tools are great, but if its speeed your after (DVDsanta takes up to 4 hours, TMGenc about 2) then go for winAVI, hope this helps,

hi i have movies on my hard drive and try to burn them by using nero vision express it tells me that my file is to large(sometimes only a little to large) is there any way for me to reduce the size of the avi. mpeg. before trying to burn it to dvd with nero? Thanks, Dan

Nero should ask u if u want 2 reduce the quality to fit on the disk. It does for me when that happens.

How do you make the file smaller once you have converted it to DVD? I am using Nero but it doesn’t give me the option to reduce the quality to make it smaller, please help
