How to burn a .ts file for view on dvd

burn with super dvd creator it takes about 15 mins to burn a 1.6gb file (people that are waiting for hours for a burn aneed to lok into the way they are doing it.

SUPER DVD CREATOR can convert an avi into the vob then burn the said vob onto a disc in about 30 mins total. its a dream come true

I tried to rename the file. Its actually playable.
But very slow on my vista and it also gives some warning about missmatch of media. I am having 5600+ with 4GB ram and my CPU tops 100%.

use sonic recordnow open data disc and just drag the video_ts file there then just burn voila dvd movie

just get videoredo and convert the TS files to mpgs and your problem is over. buring mpg to dvd is simple with nero

how does it work

I made movie with SONY campcorder , after formalize
on internal small size DVD, after I see this movie
on my laptop computer. if I explore disk, it is ST
folder with files inside.

I have ST folder and files inside, when I run it
it shows 10 chapters in series, or I can run which ever chapter I want to see from menue ,I would like to remove,
delete one chapter in middle, but have no axcess to chapters
it is one big file. does someone know how decompouse
ST file on chapters? it has menue in begining but you can
choose which chapter to run but not permits to delete.

I tried that and Windows Media Player will not play or recognize the original*.ts file that I renamed *.wm or *.wmv

I just want to play the file on Windows Media Player on my Win XP HD??

Do you have any other ways to convert *.ts files to Mpg or extensions that will play on Windows Media Player?

This is the fastest way to burn a VIDEO_TS file on a DVD.

First you need 2 programs installed on your computer:
-Nero (to burn the file)
-DVD shrink (I have version 3.2)

All you need to do is:
1.Open DVD Shrink, click “Open Files” and select the VIDEO_TS folder.

2. Once the DVD has loaded in DVD Shrink, click “Backup!" this should automatically open Nero. All you need to do now is burn the thing and Voila!

If you want to play the file.ts on your computer, you can play it with GOM Player

I have a .ts file that I recorded using my satellite box to an external HD. I tried to burn it with nero 5 but was unable. This is not a video_ts file it’s only a .ts file. Nero says it could not find the .ifo or .bup files/ext. What do I need to do in order to get my movies and shows onto a DVD that will play in a regular DVD player?

Hi all, my name is the JOKER and BATMAN keeps trying to foil my plots so uhhhhhh I’m trying to burn his Dark Knight DVD so I can study his Tacsticles, I mean Testicles, I mean tactics yeah yeah yeah that’s it! So uhhhhh I’ve got this whole Vidjeo and Audjeo TS files like errybaeey else and uh I’m trying to put the DVD menu for the Batman DVD onto a DVD disk, that’s alot of DVDs. Not sure how, I can put the ts files onto a DVD like videos but that doesn’t make the DVD have the Batman menu, I have to make one of my own still.
