How do I burn BIN/CUE files to DVD so it will play on my DVD player?

How do I burn BIN/CUE files to DVD so it will play on my DVD player?
I don’t even know if this is possible because I performed a search and read other threads but I couldn’t find a proper working solution

This should be possible somehow

Go to the following websites:
Download ffdshow 2004-10-12
http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/codecs_and_filters/ffdshow.cfm
When downloaded install it and on to the next download.

Download daemon333.exe which can be found at
http://colormar.no-ip.com/freew2/Windows%20FreeWare/CD-DVD-Video-Media/
When downloaded doble click on the icon and close the read me file,then follow the installation process.

finally Download vcdgear355 at
http://www.vcdgear.com/download.html
When downloaded unzip the folder then go into the folder and run vcdgear, you will then have to load the movie file and click start.

First of all download Nero Burning Rom from http://www.nero.com
Install the program. This is a burning software.
After you installed it, Start — -> All programs — -> Nero — -> Nero Burning Rom.
The software will now load. If you have a serial so enter it. If not, use the demo. Now, if i’m not wrong it will open the wizard. close the wizard and go up (you know, where you have File, View, Edit, Recorder...) and go to Recorder and choose Burn Image. Now go to the directory where you have the bin and the cue file and choose the cue file. The cue file will direct the software to burn the bin file and then click Burn. That’s all. And don’t worry if you see that the bin file is more than 700mb. After you burn it, it will be less.

mini, what you answered is how to burn it as a vcd/svcd file in a very very long way.

He needs to burn it as an image file, and Nero Burning Rom is the best software to burn it as an image file.

does this method that you have given allow u 2 burn a cue file on to a dvd and not a vcd..please help cheers m8..

If U want 2 burn a cue 2 dvd..it won’t happen unless U’ll have 2 convert the bin file(image)2 mpeg 1st by using vcdgear. There after..U will then have 2 convert the mpeg 2 vob by using either these 3 converting software: winavi, dvd santa or vso divx to dvd. All 3 of these software r trail version. Google 4 it n try it out.

I have no idea how to get nero 6 to burn my bin and cue files into a movie! I don’t know squat!

Jokzter: i read the above posts and using nero 6:

if u go to start->all programs->nero->nero 6 (ultra edition)->Nero Burning Rom

Close the wizard that automatically opens

->Go to “Recorder” along the top (beside File, Edit...etc)

-> Burn Image browse til u find the .cue file u have downloaded
this “cues” the .bin file click “OK”

sort of wizard will open->
put in blank cd and click “OK”

that should burn your VCD and will work in your DVD player providing its VCD compatible.

i literally just followed that step by step and it worked for me- first time trying.

Hi all,

I am trying to burn a 3Gb Bin file onto a DVD disk with no luck. Nero 6 will not allow me to burn onto a DVD -R. I have done the steps abovementioned and located the CUE file, but when I instruct it to burn it gives me an error message saying that is has to be a CD -R/RW. Is there not a way around this ???

Please help, these are tutorials that I am dying to do.

ok as far as i know its pretty simple here is how i convert avi files for starter i use this WinAVI Video Converter for converting those and then i do use vcd gear and nero as well as d tools hey if you have all of these programs then you can figure it out

Hi,There I was wondering if any one can help me? I down loaded the movie flight plan it can down in two parts, part one has a bin file and a cue file and part two has a bin file and a cue file. how can I burn it off on to a DVD so it will work in my DVD player?? Can I burn it on one DVD??

I am very new at this too, I need to know how to burn bin and cue files also, but my nero is nero startsmart not sure what to do with it after I go to start menu>>find nero>>and there is no Nero Rom. Not sure where to go after that..I don’t see where I can find file>>edit>>so on on my nero face plate..am I missing something?? I have to problem burning avi or iso, I use divx to dvd and dvd decrypter to do those...Is that wrong??

ok you have to mount both images then from there you can easily find out if flight plan is a vcd,dvd,or mpg after you find out if it is a vcd or svcd then that is easy you will only need vcd gear,and a converting program of some sort after that just nero just mount the image and let me know what the movie file is how about that?

I’ve tried burn image but it doesn’t work. The cue file isn’t compatible and it asks for a cd-r/rw and i want to put a a bin file on DVD-r.

Can anyone please tell me how to do this?
