I just ran the .mkv file through the program “ConvertXtoDVD” and it converted it and burned it in one operation. I really like using “ConvertXtoDVD”.

To burn MKV files to DVD needs a DVD Burner tool.

Download the FREE DVDVideoSoft Suite and burn to DVD directly from mkv. I use it for all my movie downloads and conversions toavi and mp4 formats. http://dvdvideosoft.com get all the free software in one download and save a lot of time.

Why is an ssa type subtitle display incorrectly after one converts it with convertXtodvd...?
And any suggestions on how to fix such an occurrence...?

as a matter of fact, you can also convert MKV to DVD as long as you can convert other formats such as avi or mov. maybe you can try to change a video converter software.

actually, converting mkv to DVD is just the same with to convert other video formats. as long as you have a right DVD Creator software, you can realize video converting easily.

iSkysoft DVD Creator can allow you burn a .mkv file to DVD with just few clicks. more information could be found from my signature.

Make sure you don’t spend any money looking for good video converter software (I use avs). If someone tries to convince you that you have to pay, you didn’t look hard enough. The best ware is freeware. I suggest torrents.
