I have been doing this for the past few months without a problem, however just tonight when I finished burning a bunch of older AVI files. I put the disc on my DVD player. The sound is perfect but there is no audio. I get this message: Video Codecs missing.

The videos are from 2003 -05. I tried converting them to a different AVI file type and still nothing. Any help. Ideas?

Are you burning data DVD’s or movie DVD’s?
Is your standalone DVD player DivX-certified?
What did you convert your AVI files to?

You can burn your AVI to DVD Disc to play on DVD Player, or Burn your AVI files to ISO to play on your computer

Okay i burned 25 AVI Video files using Ashampoo Version 8. I have been doing this for months. But I go and put these files on my disc (burn was successul) and I went a played it on my DVD player thats been playing these discs since I started burning. The files appear in the menu put when you click play, the sound comes on but in the coirner it says ERROR! Video Codecs Missing.

I converted these AVI File types one that is not encoded...
