Converting .wmv files to dvd format (.vob)

I’m sure this has been discussed before, but I’ve read the last few threads and found nothing. Thanks for bearing with me.

I have some movies which I downloaded, legally, believe it or not, from cinemanow.com. (I know, the site sucks. I got a couple of gift certs to use there, so I did.)

They’re in wmv format. I’d like to burn them to dvd to play on a regular dvd player.

The programs I’ve tried:
WinAvi Video Converter - error “Cannot render the graph, make sure the file can be played in WMP”. Needless to say it CAN be played in WMP.

Super DVD Creator - odd error about missing some codec.

My WMP version is 10.

I also have 1click, dvd shrink, dvd for free.

Any tips? Thanks!

Want to burn WMV to DVD for playback on DVD player?

If so, just follow the DVD Creator guide.
