burning movies on comp to dvd's

ok this is what i want to do. i have so movies on my computer...(tipical 700mb movie only files) that are plaed in vlc and mediaplayer. what i want to do is to burn these video clips onto dvd’s so that i can play them in my dvd player. please let me know what to do and how to do it... thanks alot

Hey there i have used a program call vso divxtodvd since it started and its great just add your movie click convert leave it be and two hours or so later its on a dvd for ya perfect for downloaded avi or mpeg video files, or something you created yourself,

As far as I know, the DVD standard format is VOB.If you want to play the movies on your home DVD player,you should convert the movie format to DVD format.Otherwise your DVD player will be not compatible with the movie and can’t read it.Usually I use DVD Creator program to convert diffferent formats to DVD.Wish it helps!
