How can I burn an avi movie file to a dvd using nero 7 ultra edition? I’ve tried to burn the movie files as a project, but the disc errors towards the end of the burning session (which takes hours) and doesn’t finish. Also, the avi movie files are around 800mb, but when I try and burn them as some video project, it jumps up to almost 1.5GB, how come this happens and how do I burn the avi video files to a dvd while keeping them the same size?

Ok friend My name is Greg.I’v been burning avi movies files for years and I’m good at it. nero 7 Ultra is good for burning almost any movie file. and so is DVDFLICK. I use both. but dvdflick is the best i think and easy to use. If you can’t use nero, get DVDFLICK It’s free. just go here. http://www.dvdflick.net/

To burn AVI movies in nero. You need to use Nero vision 4 or 5 . Nero Ultra 7 has nero vision 4.Make sure it’s set to burning NTSC, Not PAL. In nero Vision go to Make dvd and click dvd video, then add the video files, go down and click More and put a check in the creat chapters aotomatically and click next. Then in the menu to use, change it to, DO NOT CREAT MENU. Make sure you have DVD or DVD-5 showing as th disk size and click NEXT. Here you can view your video befor you burn it. clisk NEXT, pick max speed, make sure you pisk your dvd drive to burn your movie to and click BURN and your done.
