A good program for you to convert files to dvd is Total Video2Dvd.
You can download here.

It’s a great program, It can “Auto Convert and Burn MKV, Blu-ray TS, M2TS, AVCHD MTS, HDV1080i, Divx, Rm, Wmv, Avi to DVD Video Disc directly.”

To burn mpeg4 movies to dvd, you should not ignore the best dvd making software for windows, it does not only support MPEG4 format, but also all of these: avi, asf, dat, flv, wmv, mov, vob, mpg, mpeg, 3gp
