WMP like any Pc software has a lot of codecs to read and play your file.If you want to burn it first find out the type of your file and after that decide what you want to do with.Ok I want to make a vcd or svcd or I want to make a dvd is up to your hardware and if the file is bigger than 700 MB and you have a dvd burner you can make from a Xvid file or just avi or DivX or MPeg or whatever a dvd but before that you have to convert it to your choice.Exemple: avi to DVD Xvid to DVD DivX to DVD and so on.Any video converter has all these choices just pick one.To find out what type of file you have if your download title does not help you use GSpot or AviCodec and find out the type of your file and what you may need to play it.WinAvi makes the convertion but is a shareware and if you have a dvd burner here is a freeware converter from VSO: http://www.vso-software.fr/ .
