yahoo voice chat problem solved

Im using now Window Vista with my new PC.Problem is when I Log In to Yahoo Messenger Chat rooms thier is no audio sound coming but I can play any audio or video DVDs.It also Pops up on the screen saying...This computer does not support the required audio format.
What am I going to do now its been a couple of weeks now I cant fixed this problem.Can somebody kindly help me please. Thanks a million. ADO, Ireland

If you are using windows 2000 professional your internet explorer may be version 5.0 u install or update to version 6.0 of internet explorer so it will work.

Like ado, am in Vista HELL with a new computer. Playback audio works fine, but when I go to voice chat, no audio works. not sure how to add the codecs as Vista does not have the same listings for sound, video, and games like xp did. Anyone have any suggestions?

i am in UK and tried to yahoo messanger voice chat with my family in India, webcam is working but voice chat option is not enabled please suggest.

I have a question...I have downloaded music on my laptop and i can hear that fine through the speakers...But the main problem that i am having is i go into yahoo chat rooms and if someone is playing music or talking on microphone i am unable to hear anything at all...Says the computer does not support audio compression format.What can i do to solve this problem so i am able to hear in the chatroom...

yahoo audio mixer could not be initialized

bytescribes tsp codec helps with yahoo voice problems yet it’s a hit or miss thing. IF you install it and still cannot get voice, try ytunnel pro along with the codec. I know it sounds odd, but just give it a try

on voice chat i always got the message “computer`s audio mixture could not be initialized”.plz tell me what i have to do now?
