When I open the GSPOT I get this error message below,

It is possible, perhaps even likely, that other media players will crash when they attempt to play this file as well, as most of them will also use DirectShow. Next time write more infos about the file you try to play.Here is a link for audio codec tag 17 click on it and read the instructions.Before you do that check if you have install any codecs pack like All in One DivX and Xvid.For audio AC3 filter is a must.All from the above are on this site and free. http://www.free-codecs.com/guides/Audio_Tags.htm It’s good to have video players like VLC and BSplayer or Media Classic.
