tag2000 error

I’ve installed all of the codec packs, and confirm with
gspot that they are there, but still get the unknown
codec tag2000 error with virtualdub...and TMPGEnc won’t
let me work the file either. Have the same problem
on a Win2K and XP platforms.

Any advice?

ac3 sound in AVI file. (yesterday i discover method how convert sound)

VirtualDub => Direct stream audio => Save wav (with ac3 sound in).

BeSweet => Convert wav (with ac3 sound in) to PCM wav.

Mux movie + sound (TMPGENc or VirtualDub).

AC3Filter only play avi movies with ac3 sound (VirtualDub still display unknown tag2000).
