problems with mkv files

Hi guys but i really have problem with mkv file,when i try to save WAV in VirtualDubMod it says “No audio decompressor could be found to decompress the source audio format” and i try to save it as Lame mp3 i thought i had all codecs and it’s only problem with mkv files with my avi files everything is fine.
