No Sound when updated to new k-lite codec pack help?

movies were working fine. then i updated the codecs pack and now i cant get the sound out of them.here is an image of the file i ran through gspot

it says not a valid avi file????

what is weird is when i try and play it in windows media player it just crashes,when i play it in vlc player it does not play at all.it does play in windows media classic but no sound.

this is weird.

yeah i have the same problem...can someone help us?
