thanx anyway, I found the solution already, if anyone else pass thru the same, the clue was the wFormatTag: 0x0215 line, this number shows the codec tag (in this particular case, I don’t know if this happen every time) I only searched for the net about this tag and, “voila”, there you are!...by the way, I suggest the Codec Pack Elisoft, it solves a lot of troubles...greetings!!

yeah...i got the same problem too...i tried radlight but it still doesn’t work...

MEDIATYPE_Audio {73647561-0000-0010-8000-00AA00389B71} is AC3, so you want an AC3 decoder. A good starting point is AC3Filter.

i seen to have this problem when i want to play most movies. but recently my audio codecs have gone all weird. and now when i play movies and games there is no sound at all. and when i go to control panel and click on sound and audio devices it says. No audio devices! what should i do can any one help me?
