I don’t know how clear this is, but the AC3 Filter Download site apparently allows for two versions:
ac3file_0_6b.exe
acfilter_1_62b.exe

I’m not sure abt whats the dif, but I realised that the 1st one worked while the 2nd had an “error”.

Hi, I am trying to watch a movie on DIVX and it keeps saying that I need a Dolby AC3 Audio(Code 8192) format, how do I get this and do I need to do sometning else to get it going, I am new with this DIVX thing

Surely DiVx should add AC3 codec as standard download add-on? It would be far quicker and people would stop posting this up, millions of pages on the internet are forums just like this asking questions on this issue.

i did download it and install it and it didnt work at all got the same bloody message wonder if every1 elses problem was realy solved

Just downloaded the most recent here http://ac3filter.net/projects/ac3filter/releases worked perfectly =) Some others didn’t.
