I tried everything in this thread. It did not work for me.

however this worked: http://sourceforge.net/projects/ac3filter/

And more importantly it worked right after installation, there was nothing I needed to do to activate it. I tohught it post it in here for those people struggling.

the same happened to me. I tried
ac3filter_1_63_lite.zip unpacked and did not work, then i tried 0_6b.exe and it did not work...
finally i got it to work with
ac3filter_1_62b.exe

just pick the right version here..

I tried everythingsaid on this page but after installing itcould not play audio on certain files until i downloaded this. Didnt evenhave to do anything after setup it just worked straight away, so give it a try......

Go to this site and download this software. After downloading don’t forget to restart your computer. Tried it on mine and it worked great. reply

If the Source Forge Ac3 Filter did not work for you, try this one http://www.moviecodec.com/downloads/20d.html Sourcefourge did not work for me. Found this one, works great with message error 8192.

wth am i doing wrong
