I have an issue with getting my audio to work on DivX or Windows Media Player. I downloaded the AC3 filter once and it worked after that, but once I turned my computer off and back on again later-the same message appeared. I have now downloaded every type of filter recommended on these forums. I have even downloaded gspot which gave me these results:
File Type: Matroska media file(.MKV)
Mime Type: video/x-matroska
Partial Render Failure: Following is the error reported by DirectShow
(Src)-->>(A)-->[DivX Decoder Filter]>--(B)-->[Video Renderer]
If you know anything I can try please help. I would highly appreciate any knowledge you can offer me :)
I’m getting alot of the same errors on my divx and windows media player trying to play these types of movie files... So majorly frustrating when I can’t play the file with any sound. The people doing the dvd ripping aren’t using the right software!
Can some one tell me what program do I need to play these types of files!
You need to install these ALL AUDIO codecs:
- AAC Decoder:
- AAC Parser:
- Directshow Filters for Ogg Vorbis, Speex, Theora and FLAC:
- AC3/DTS XForm Filter:
- At last a VIDEO SPLITTER for Matroska files:
And you don’t need to reboot the PC!
