Right back 2 all U lamers. Context is the key 2 getting any answer in life.
Maybe people should learn to read the information Microsoft presents on the
Web Help page. I would bet all could benefit from this too, as all seem 2
think an answer can be provided without specific’s. I suggest U all should go back pushing kids off the swing set at
your local park.

Hey also got the error on my windows when trying to play a mp3 audio file. My problem is, I think is that I don’t know what codec or codecs i need to run in order to listen to my audio file. This is the error message i got, I’m unsure but under the impression that I may have to get quicktime or Og am going to try that in meantime but will have paste copy of error message if anyone knows wat I need to do be much appreciated smiley

A codec that is required for playback is not installed on your computer. If you know which codec you need to install, try searching for the codec at WMPlugins.com or at MSN Search, and then install the codec.

I duno what codec i need to install? How do i get this information sorted, when all i know is its a C00D109B audio codec error required.

Windows Media Player might not support the file type (also known as the file container format) that you are trying to play (for example, Ogg or QuickTime). If this is the case, you might be able to resolve the issue by installing a third-party program that does support the file type, and then trying to play the file in Windows Media Player again.

How do i find out which program would support my audio files format?

The file name extension might provide some clue about which program you might need to install. To determine which programs are associated with a particular file name extension, see the FILExt Web site.

Whats a file name extension and where do i get it?

The file might be corrupted. If you suspect that the file is corrupted, ask the content provider for a copy of the file that is not corrupted.
