avi with no sound

i downloaded but it did no work, i need this codec as video works but sound does not. the file is avi

0x1fc4 (NCT ALF2CD codec)

problem solved by a simple installation :)
never thought anything could be that easy

I also had problem with the audio of an .avi file on my Dell Inspiron laptop. I tried playing on a divx player, Windows Media and Real Player. Video was fine but no audio.

In short, the ac3 filter fixed the problem immediately. Thanks much for your help.

Hi, I’ve tried the AC3 codec to no avail, I have over 200 avi files with no sound which I desperately need! Every single player doesn’t work, I’ve searched for codecs everywhere but can’t seem to find many? Ideally I want them t be useable within FCS2.

Any help would be much appreciated!
