To smoothly play MKV in Windows Media Player on Windows PC, you'd better convert MKV to Windows Media Player compatible format. To achieve this, you can make use of Brorsoft Video Convert...

Every time I try importing an avi file, it always winds up telling me its "corrupt" and needs to be removed before I can save the video. I've record with Fraps, and I've made almost 5 30 minute videos before I know, because I've uploaded them to YouTube. I don't know why, all of a sudden, it decides not to work. the only difference is that I've upgraded to Windows 10. could that be it? Or do I maybe need a certain codec or what? and how do I find the tools>options>compatibility m...

QuickTime and other media players can play MOV files. If you do not have QT and there is another way to play MOV videos smoothly, that is to save MOV to more common video format such as MP4. It can be played by almost all media players, including VLC, QT, and more.

I want to explain to you that .wlmp is not a valid video format. It’s the Project File which created by Windows Live Movie Maker. You can convert WLMP to WMV with this freeware itself. If you want to upload WLMP on YouTube or Facebook. You need download a third party video converter to convert WMV to MP4, MOV, FLV and more. Here is the video guide on Youtube to help you convert WLMP to your needed video format. https://youtu.be/OV2cTG2D6NA
